Despite it just having been Winter, I’ve been quite busy with photographic work.  I did a wonderful wedding the week before last.  The couple were amazing and it was so relaxed and we had beautiful weather.  During the week days I was also busy chasing buses around to photograph the advertising on the sides and back of the buses for a media company that hired me.  That was fun and kept me busy for a few days.

Last weekend I was at the Half Ironman in Mooloolaba and since it rained I got to use my underwater Panasonic Camera for some shots.  I also did a model shoot at Old Petrie Town, have another one coming up soon and will be doing a family baby christening this week with another family portrait session the day after on Fathers Day.

In-between all this shooting, I’ve been editing old images and updating my Facebook Page, my website and my Instagram feed.  Looking back over old images is interesting to see how far I’ve come shooting, and in particular with my editing and it’s been great to revisit old images, admire them, rework them or just wonder what I was thinking back then!  I guess that’s what all artists, writers, painters, photographers and others think about their old work.  Its part of growing and learning.

I’m looking forward to two more weddings in September and November this year then the busy time will start with our Santa on the Beach portraits again.  We have new set props being made and new ideas.  This will be our 4th year of shooting families and their dogs on the beach with Santa.  More info can be found at our website: www.SantaBeachPhotos.com.
